StreetArtWorldMap is a free, open platform for discovering and documenting street art, murals, graffiti, stencils, paste-ups and urban art of all kinds. Think of it as a living, breathing map of the world's outdoor galleries — one that anyone can contribute to and everyone can explore.

Every artwork on the map has been photographed at its real GPS location. You can browse it city by city, filter by style, find artworks by your favourite artists, or simply open the map and discover what's around you right now.

Street art is the most democratic art form on earth — created in public, for free, by anyone. We believe it deserves to be discovered, credited, and preserved.

A mural painted today can be buffed, demolished or painted over within weeks. Street art is ephemeral by nature — that's part of its power. But that also means countless extraordinary works have been lost forever, with no record they ever existed.

We built StreetArtWorldMap because we believe that even fleeting art deserves a permanent record. When a mural comes down, it should live on — photographed, geotagged, credited, archived. A piece of culture shouldn't just vanish.

At the same time, so much incredible street art goes undiscovered simply because people don't know it exists. A world-class mural can sit one street away from where you're walking, completely invisible. We want to change that.
